Celebright | About Us

Our Story

Celebright began in a garage, as many good founding stories do, in a suburb of Canada's capital, Ottawa. In the fall of 2017, founder Dan Junkins set about stopping his bi-annual trip up the ladder to put up and take down his Christmas lights after his wife requested “more lights this year”. Having a background in both computer and hardware engineering, Dan was uniquely suited for the task. Adapting proven technology used in jumbotron pixels, he created a high-quality permanent holiday lighting system that he and his family would love on their home.

When neighbors started asking where they could buy this system, it became clear that permanent holiday lighting was a new and exciting concept that people wanted for their homes. Enlisting the help of some very talented friends, Dan began working full time and Celebright was created. Now, over 5 years later, those talented friends form the core of Celebright's leadership team, bringing with them decades of expertise and experience.

In 2023, Celebright moved into a new 15,000 sq ft facility to meet growing demand, and has a footprint spanning most of Canada and the United States. Having been a “people first” business since the beginning, we're extremely proud of the team we've built and how many lives we've been able to touch carrying out our mission of bringing joy through light!
